Wheel thrown porcelain teapot with trailed and sprayed glazes fired in reduction to cone 10 and low temperature oxidation refired for color development. This is a functional teapot but not to be used on a stove. First pour in hot tap water, empty and add boiling water and tea. A benefit of ceramic teapots is that they keep the tea warmer longer.
